Picture Person

Students in Mrs. Fischer's 2nd grade class, enjoyed learning about the artist named Jackson Pollock. The children wore garbage bags so they could imitate his style of painting. They called it "action painting", splattering paint to make a design. Looks like fun - don't you think?

Congerville Fall Carnival a Huge Success!!!

The Congerville PTO sponsored a Fall Carnival at the school on Tuesday, October 27th. It was a huge success & was enjoyed by all who attended. They had new games, raffle, cake walk, and a food stand that included delicious Trails End sandwiches. A huge thank you goes out to the Justin & Sheri Zobrist Family for all their hard work in organizing this year's carnival. Thank you, also, to all the volunteers who made this a wonderful memory for the kids. Great job, parents!

Butterflies Dodging Raindops

Congerville 4th graders were able to find a gap in the rain today so they could release their butterflies.  The butterfly program is in cooperation with University of Illinois Extension Office.  Our 4th grade has enjoyed this program for many years.  The students get a close look at the development of a painted lady butterfly.
